How We Make College Affordable

We believe students shouldn't have to choose between following God's calling and graduating with overwhelming debt.

NBC’s annual tuition is about one-fifth of the average tuition and fees at a private nonprofit college. After scholarships, a typical residential student receives tuition, housing, meals, and fees for an amount comparable to—or below—the cost of modest housing and utilities in Nashville.

What’s Included?

Tuition

Block rate tuition covers 24-36 credit hours each academic year, allowing most students to graduate in four years without paying additional tuition for a full-time course load.

Four 8-week terms a year, plus two optional 4-week intensives in winter and summer.

Housing

Students live in shared campus homes with one to three roommates. Each home includes furnished bedrooms, a full kitchen, laundry room, and comfortable shared living space.

Students receive ten chef-prepared meals each week through Stateland Coffee, Stone Table Catering, and Chick-fil-A. Meal plans are designed to provide flexibility throughout the academic week.

Students choose 10 meals from 16 available options, breakfast, lunch and dinner Monday - Friday and Saturday brunch.

Student Fees

One annual student fee covers technology, campus facilities, security, retreats, clubs, student activities, maintenance, and other services supporting campus life.

  • Most full-time commuter and online students take 12 credit hours per semester.

    Typical Full-Time Semester

    • Tuition: $3,998 (12 credit hours)

    • Course Fees: $100 per course (maximum of $300 per semester)

    Tuition is assessed at $286 per credit hour, allowing students to enroll either full-time or part-time.

    Students with previous college coursework may transfer up to 30 eligible credits, allowing many to complete their degree more quickly.

  • Interested in experiencing The Institute before enrolling?

    Students may take up to two undergraduate courses without applying to a degree program.

    • $500 per course

    • No course fees

    • Not eligible for scholarships

    Students who later enroll in a degree program may transfer these courses after paying a $50 transfer fee.

  • Qualified high school juniors and seniors can begin earning college credit before graduation.

    Students may earn up to 12 credit hours toward a future degree at Nashville Bible College. Transferability to another institution is determined by the receiving college.

  • Our online Certificate of Christian Practice provides practical biblical training in a flexible format designed specifically for international learners.

    • $420 per course

    • $45 per course for qualifying students in developing nations

Non-Residential Programs

An independent scholarship model

Nashville Bible College does not participate in federal financial aid programs, including Pell Grants and federal student loans.

Instead, we've chosen to invest directly in students through modest tuition, generous institutional scholarships, and limited student loans. This approach reflects our commitment to responsible stewardship, institutional independence, and helping students graduate with less debt.

Upon acceptance, students are automatically considered for institutional scholarships and are not required to complete the FAFSA.
